On Thursday, the Atlanta Braves announced they have claimed right-handed pitcher Carson Ragsdale and left-handed pitcher Josh Walker off waivers from the Baltimore Orioles.

Ragsdale spent most of this season in AAA, recording a 3.47 ERA over seven appearances while with the Orioles organization. He did make a couple of appearances for the major league club, but they did not go well, allowing eight earned runs over five innings.
Walker has spent parts of three different seasons in the majors but only has 27 appearances, recording a 7.20 ERA. In 42.2 total innings between AAA and the majors this year, he recorded a 4.64 ERA.
