Ahead of their upcoming homestand, the Atlanta Braves have officially reinstated Ha-Seong Kim from the IL.
Atlanta also placed Eli White on the injured list after he entered concussion protocol following Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Dodgers. White suffered the injury while crashing into the wall on a heroic run-saving catch late in the contest.
The #Braves today returned INF Ha-Seong Kim from his rehabilitation assignment and reinstated him from the injured list, and placed OF Eli White on the 7-day concussion IL.

Kim has been out for several months after a freak incident during the offseason where he slipped on ice, resulting in a torn tendon in his finger. An incredibly unfortunate ordeal that happened not long after the Braves inked him to a one-year, $20 million contract.
The good news is he hasn’t been missed too much in Atlanta. The Braves have burst out to a 28-13 record — the best mark in Major League Baseball — and a primary reason for that has been the play of Mauricio Dubon at shortstop in Kim’s absence.
We’ll see how Walt Weiss chooses to utilize the two moving forward, but Dubon’s ability to play all over the diamond is going to keep him in the lineup as long as he keeps hitting. He’ll likely see a lot of time in left field, which is one of the only areas the Braves really haven’t gotten any consistent offensive production.
