The most notable addition is Zach Harrison, who was shockingly placed on waivers earlier this week after recording 4.5 sacks in seven games last season. It’s even more shocking that no team wanted to take a flier on him, which tells me there’s probably more to the story that we normal folks aren’t privy to.
Khalid Kareem is back with the organization after spending the last two seasons in Atlanta, appearing in six games total. Cameron Sample is out after failing to make the initial 53-man roster, and so is cornerback Cobee Bryant, who appeared in seven games last season for the Falcons after making the squad as an undrafted free agent.
It’s important to remember that everything is still very fluid right now. There will be a lot more moves before the Falcons take the field against the Steelers next Sunday.
