GDOT announces changes to dangerous intersection
The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) is making some slight changes to an intersection that has recently claimed the lives of three individuals in separate accidents. GDOT announced on Thursday that it has added two stop signs on either side of the intersection of Lackey and Moores Road where it meets Highway 36. The stop signs include reflective tape for better visibility. A striped island with a yield sign was also added for right-turning traffic onto Moores Road.
