The Greater Perimeter Chamber is conducting a digital survey to gauge respondents’ perspectives on the Perimeter area.
“The purpose of this research is to better understand perceptions of the Greater Perimeter region, including Brookhaven, Dunwoody, and Sandy Springs,” the survey said. “Results will help inform recommendations related to regional positioning, messaging, and future digital resources.
Residents, employees, business owners, and visitors are invited to share their perspectives by taking the Perimeter Perception Survey, available online.
“Your feedback will provide valuable insights into how the Perimeter is viewed today and help shape efforts to strengthen the region’s identity, support economic development, and plan for continued growth,” the survey said.
The 25-question survey asks participants about their connection to the area, words that best describe the area, what places or experiences they would recommend to people visiting the area, and whether they consider Sandy Springs, Brookhaven, and Dunwoody a single entity or a unified community.
It also asks what they feel is the most important goal for the Greater Perimeter area over the next 10 years.
“The more voices we hear, the better we can understand and represent our region moving forward,” the survey said.
It also asks respondents to rank the importance of several factors, including safety, entertainment, schools, and walkability, when deciding where to work, play, and live in a certain area.
A similar survey in 2025, which was presented to the Dunwoody City Council, found a positive sense of safety and an overall satisfaction with the amenities in the area.
