The mission of the Savannah Jazz Festival is to keep jazz accessible to all, fostering a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for the community. The Coastal Jazz Association (CJA) brings the festival to life along with the City of Savannah and the generous support of sponsors. Expect an incredible mix of jazz styles ranging from traditional to contemporary, ensuring a little something for every jazz enthusiast. Events span various venues across Savannah, with Forsyth Park hosting the main weekend performances.

Cost
Good news for jazz lovers! Many concerts, including those at Forsyth Park, are free. Fees apply for exclusive ticketed performances.
Savannah Jazz Hall of Fame
Dive into Savannah’s rich jazz history through features on the festival website and exhibits at the Savannah History Museum, celebrating the Savannah Jazz Hall of Fame.
What to Bring
Pack your favorite lawn chairs, blankets, and coolers to relax and enjoy. However, note that tents, grills, and beach umbrellas are not allowed, as they can block views for other attendees. Please set up any of the aforementioned items along the park’s perimeter as directed by festival volunteers.

Festival Guidelines for Forsyth Park
To ensure everyone has a memorable experience, please follow these guidelines:
- Lawn chairs, coolers, and blankets are permitted.
- Tents or beach umbrellas should be placed along the perimeter to avoid obstructing views.
- Standing or leaning on barricades near the stage is not allowed.
- Drone use, grills, and open flames are prohibited.
- Food and beverages, including beer, wine, and soft drinks, will be available for purchase from on-site vendors.
Pro Tip: Bring cash as there are no ATMs in Forsyth Park.
Extreme Weather Plan
The show must go on—even in rain! Performances will continue as planned. If thunder or lightning strikes, the event will relocate to Trustees Theater, 216 E Broughton Street.
