Atlanta Pride has announced that hip-hop sensation Flo Milli will headline this year’s festival, while critically acclaimed singer-songwriter Perfume Genius has also been added to the entertainment lineup.
“We are ecstatic to welcome Flo Milli and Perfume Genius for this year’s Festival,” Chris McCain, Executive Director of Atlanta Pride, said in a statement. “Flo Milli’s bold, unapologetic voice and Perfume Genius’s fearless artistry perfectly reflect this year’s theme, ‘Rooted in Resistance.’ Their performances will no doubt inspire, uplift, and energize our community as we come together to celebrate Pride.”
Flo Milli, praised for her lighthearted demeanor and sharp, punch line-heavy style, skyrocketed from underground status to viral fame with her 2018 single “Beef FloMix.” She went on to release her debut mixtape “Ho, Why Is You Here?” in 2020, followed by her 2022 studio album “You Still Here, Ho?” Her 2024 album “Fine Ho, Stay” debuted on the Billboard 200 and produced her first Hot 100 hit, “Never Lose Me.”
Perfume Genius (aka Mike Hadreas), known for his emotionally raw songwriting and ethereal vocals, has captivated critics and audiences alike since his 2010 debut “Learning.” His 2014 single “Queen” became a modern queer anthem, and his later albums — including the Grammy-nominated “No Shape” (2017) and “Set My Heart On Fire Immediately” (2020) — cemented his reputation as one of the most innovative artists of his generation.
This announcement builds on the first round of 2025 Festival entertainment, which includes Bob the Drag Queen, winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race season 8; 2AM Ricky, the groundbreaking artist and advocate who became the first Black trans man to chart in the iTunes Electronic Top 3; Bentley Robles, one of the most exciting new voices in indie pop; and Adeem the Artist, who is reimagining Southern sounds through a queer lens.
The 2025 Atlanta Pride Festival will take place Oct. 11-12 and features live performances across multiple stages, the city’s largest parade, a marketplace of vendors and community partners, and a wide variety of activities celebrating LGBTQ+ pride and resilience.
