Given the issues in the rotation, this is something I expected the Braves to do — and that was before Murphy threw three perfect innings against the Cardinals over the weekend with three strikeouts.
He’s looked very encouraging over his first two appearances out of the bullpen, and now we’ll see if he can carry that success into his more natural role as a starter.
