Covington finalizes change to code of ethics
Despite continued opposition from two City Council members, the city of Covington has given final approval to a change to its code of ethics. Council members Charika Davis and Anthony Henderson voted against the change June 15, with Henderson arguing that the change is unnecessary. The amendment to the code states that council members are prohibited from voting to forgive debts owed to the city by them or their immediate family members.
