The Diamond Dawgs are set to take on Oklahoma at 7 PM Eastern tonight from Omaha, Nebraska in their second appearance of the 2026 College World Series.
Oklahoma was last seen shutting out the Alabama Crimson Tide behind a tour de force performance from freshman pitcher Cord Rager. Georgia also reached this stage thanks to some masterful pitching from ace Joey Volchko. It will be interesting to see if both teams can similarly hold the other’s powerful lineup free of offensive fireworks. I sort of suspect that we’ll see some runs in this one.
Television coverage and streaming will once again be live on the ESPN family of channels and apps. We will be here through the evening to keep an eye on the game, talk about what’s happening, and wrap it all up when the action is done.
Go ‘Dawgs!!!
