It went a little under the radar, but Michael Harris II exited late in Friday’s game with a back injury. Walt Weiss would go on to say that he expected Harris back in the Braves lineup Saturday afternoon; however, that is not the case.
The do-it-all man Mauricio Dubon has taken his place in center field, providing Ha-Seong Kim with an opportunity to start at shortstop.

For now, all we can hope is the Braves are taking things super cautiously. Harris has been among the best players on the team — hitting .303 with 13 homers and an .853 OPS — and has a history of back issues. There’s no reason to take any chances, but we should know more when Walt Weiss addresses the media.
