Social Circle DDA awarded $4 million cleanup grant
The Downtown Development Authority of Social Circle (DDASC) has been awarded a $4 million federal brownfield cleanup grant to rehabilitate the long-abandoned Social Circle Cotton Mill property in the edge of the city’s downtown area, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced in a June 24 news release.
