Georgia Update
The Dawgs fell to #6 in the AP Poll after an uninspiring 28-6 win against Austin Peay. The true tests of the season begin this weekend, as Georgia (and College Gameday) head to Knoxville and #15 Tennessee.
Top 25 Matchups
#6 Georgia at #15 Tennessee
#18 USF at #5 Miami
#16 Texas A&M at #5 Notre Dame
Upset Special
#12 Clemson (-9.5) at Georgia Tech
#16 Texas A&M at #8 Notre Dame (-6.5)
Let’s recount last week where I took Mississippi State to win outright and Kentucky to cover, as it’s possible that’ll be the last correct upset special of the season.
Clemson going to Georgia Tech and giving 9.5 is a lot for me, especially if Haynes King returns. Tech at covers, and if King is healthy, I think they win outright.
A&M and Notre Dame will be a slugfest. Notre Dame QB CJ Carr got a taste of the bright lights against Miami, but I think A&M’s defense will do enough to see the Aggies eek out a win in South Bend.
