Of all the games on the Bulldogs’ schedule this is the one that fires me up. Part of it is growing up below the gnat line where uncultured Gator fans are as thick as mosquitos. Perhaps it was watching Steve Spurrier’s smug mugtake pot shots at Ray Goff and Jim Donnan through my teens and twenties. Perhaps is my lifelong hatred of jorts. But there is no game on the schedule which provokes in me such fits of rage and emotional furor as this one.

On the injury front, there’s good news and bad news. The bad news is that Chauncey Bowens has been moved to “out”, not great news in a game in which the Bulldogs will want to sit on the ball and keep the Gator offense off the field. It’s also not overly heartening that the Gators will have both quarterbacks Tramell Jones and Aaron Philip at their disposal. On the bright side, Nate Frazier is another week removed from the injury report. The real question we don’t have an answer on is how limited KJ Boldwn will be. I think he’ll play. But is he 100%? That I don’t know.
